Mr. Burak graduated magna cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law where he served as Managing Editor of Thomas Jefferson Law Review. Mr. Burak was also a member of Moot Court Honor Society and served as both a coach and competitor for Thomas Jefferson’s National Competition Team. Through his active participation in tournaments centered around appellate advocacy, Mr. Burak demonstrated superior skill in written and oral advocacy in addition to legal research and writing. Mr. Burak was a five-time recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, receiving the highest grade in numerous classes throughout his time in law school.
Before attending law school, Mr. Burak worked in public education as an Instructional Assistant for high school French students in the Chicago area. Mr. Burak was inspired to join the team at Frantz Law Group after Thomas Jefferson alumni James Frantz was a guest-speaker in his Torts class during Mr. Burak’s first year of law school. Mr. Burak spent two years as a law clerk before joining the firm as an attorney in 2025.
In his current practice, Mr. Burak focuses on complex litigation involving a range of matters requiring highly specialized research and motion practice. Mr. Burak’s passion for education has led him to the forefront of numerous cases involving claims brought on behalf of school districts and the students and teachers they serve.
Mr. Burak’s years of hands-on experience at the firm has given him an excellent foundation for how to navigate the intricacies of multidistrict litigation, complex matters, and class actions. He brings an exceptional combination of passion, empathy, intelligence, and innovativeness in finding the best solutions available in every case. Mr. Burak’s resourcefulness and tireless drive to obtain the most favorable results for clients makes him an invaluable advocate.

As a former athlete, Mr. Burak remains committed to physical exercise and staying active. He enjoys weightlifting, playing golf, going to the beach, and hiking in his free time. Mr. Burak is a “hopelessly” loyal Chicago sports fan and enjoys watching his hometown Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. Mr. Burak also continues to volunteer with Thomas Jefferson’s Moot Court Competition teams, spending significant hours as a guest judge in helping to prepare students for competitive events throughout the school year.
